Playing this evening - The Twangtown Paramours: Nationally known for their award-winning songs, this husband and wife duo will bring their “Sophisticated Americana” style featuring a hybrid of the Nashville and Austin music scenes.

Pop up Art School will teach you how to use a barbed needle and merino wool roving to create a felted hedgehog. In this beginner’s class, you’ll learn how to sculpt basic shapes and attach them together. Needle felting is fun, easy and relaxing! The Mystery Book Group will host Edith Maxwell, Agatha-winning author of the Quaker Midwife series. The group will read her book Called to Justice in advance: Rose Carroll is enjoying the 1888 Independence Day evening fireworks with her beau when a teenaged Quaker mill girl is found shot dead. After a former slave and fellow Quaker is accused of the murder, Rose delves into the crime, convinced of the man's innocence. This book was a 2018 Agatha Award nominee for Best Historical Novel.

Songs, rhymes, dancing and more! Bring your bouncing shoes and join us on the Library Lawn for musical fun. Please register so we can send you a reminder and updates if our location changes. We do need the ages of the kids, so that Jeannie has an idea of the audience age range to prepare songs.

Our instructor takes you through the process step-by-step, so you'll end the class with something you'll be proud to hang in your home, or give as a gift.
