Perform or just come to listen to acoustic music and the spoken word. From 6:30 to 7:00 p.m. Weston High School senior Sophie Fennell will be featured. It will be your opportunity to be able to say someday in the future “I heard her sing before she became famous.” (Performers should register by March 19th)

Saturdays, March 24th to May 5th, 2:00 - 3:30 p.m.Weston Public LibraryIn this 6-week course, you will learn a 3D modeling tool in order to design your own prototype solar-powered car. Use your imagination to design a unique car of the future. A series of races and other challenges will allow students to see how well their design works. Everyone gets to take home the car they design and build. Limited to 10 participants, 11 years or older.

Tuesday, April 10 th, 7:00 - 9:00 p.m Weston Community CenterWe need your collective creativity, engineering, and maker skills to design and build a better fire pit before the Dad & Me Campout. The project kicks off with a brainstorming session on April 10th where we'll organize into teams to refine, prototype, test, and build the most promising ideas before the June 16th campout.

Instructor John Thompson teaches printmaking at Massachusetts College of Art and Design. He maintains a studio and print shop in the Lincoln Arts Building in Waltham.
