Have you heard it yet? "We're borrreeeddddd...." It is the call of the summer child. It usually precedes, "I'm sooo hot!" and "She's making faces at me!"

Well, if the kids in your life have started singing the song of their people, we can help. In addition to the Summer Reading Program and the everyday fun the library offers, we have some great programs coming up for kids, teens, and families this week. For the family: Animal Adventures

Wednesday, July 20, 6-7 PM

Join the traveling Animal Guide from Animal Adventures, the Northeast's leader in exotic animal education, as they visit the library and teach us all about wildlife and conservation. We'll meet eight to ten exotic animals in person...and learn things from their favorite food to where they live in the world.

Babies and Little Kids: Sing-Along

Bigger Kids: Suncatcher Workshop

Thursday, July 21, 5:00 - 6:00 PM

For kids ages 8 - 12. Create your own stained glass window picture! Each participant will get a piece of clear acrylic. Using glass nippers, they will cut glass into a pattern or picture they like and glue it on to create a suncatcher! Safety glasses must be worn.

Teens: Mosaic Tile Workshop

Thursday, July 21, 6:30 - 8:00 PM

Teens will create a small mosaic tile trivet using small glass pieces to make a unique design. All supplies are provided; just register in advance!
