Be HERE or be square

Libraries have always been where the cool people hang out. Let me refresh your memory: Hermione Grainger, Buffy the Vampire Slayer (shout out to Giles), and the ENTIRE Breakfast Club. I know that the kids in the BreakfastCclub were *technically* not in the library by choice, but look at what a transformative experience they had! Read on to find a reason to make the WPL your favorite hangout.

Work from home...ish

need a place to study, work quietly, or meet? reserve online

The library is full of little hideouts where you can focus and get work done. Our study carrels might do the trick if you work independently and quietly. Our big, open tables are perfect for working with a tutor. BUT those spaces just won't cut it for a Zoom meeting or if you need an utterly distraction-free zone. That's what our study rooms are for.

The library has three small study rooms available for patron use, independently or for two people. We are also utilizing a conference room as "Study Room 4" to allow for up to 12 people to meet and study together. Study Room 1 and Study Room 4 may be reserved in advance online. Each reservation is for 2 hours, but patrons may continue to use the room as long as no one else has reserved the space. Study Room 2 and Study Room 3 are first-come-first-serve. All patrons that wish to use any study room must check-in at the Reference Desk first.

Are you looking for a bigger space? Non-profit groups can apply to use our Community Room, while the Weston Art & Innovation Center has big and small spaces for private events, corporate meetings, and so much more.

Find the answer to a question that has been nagging you for weeks...

Such as, "Who is winning in Book March Madness: The Battle of the Books?"

You won't have to go far to find that answer. We are down to the final week, with "Where the Crawdad's Sing" continuing to dominate the bracket. Will "The Guest List" be able to come from behind and seize victory? You decide.

Choose the winner of book march madness ballot

OK, so you can also be THERE and not be square...
