Luciano Pavarotti stands as one of the most influential tenors of the 20th century. This class, led by opera singer Annina Hsieh, will explore the life, work and voice of this extraordinary singer. We will listen to video and audio clips throughout Pavarotti’s career, which spanned over 40 years and discuss the evolution of Pavarotti’s singing: his early influences, his rise to international fame and cross over to popular music styles. Weston Cable TV Survey
Most people don’t realize that cable TV companies like Comcast and Verizon are licensed to provide service in Weston. Every five years the town surveys its residents in preparation for its re-licensing discussions with the local cable companies. In the survey, you can report any issues you have had with your cable TV service and how you think it could be improved. You also can tell us what you think of the Weston Media Center, our local TV station. Please go to WestonMedia.org to take the six-minute survey, even if you have not had any issues with your service or you don’t have cable TV service at all.  Paper copies of the survey are available at the Weston Library and the COA. The survey closes on November 1st. To be most effective, Weston needs a high response rate from residents.
