The museum comes to you in this engaging presentation by Jane Blair, founder of ArtMatters, an art awareness and education organization. Da Vinci is acclaimed as one of the greatest painters in the world, but painting was not what he did the best. Da Vinci was a scientist, chemist, mathematician, engineer, designer of military equipment and strategist, a sculptor, concert level musician and inventor. The crown jewel of Mesa Verde National Park in Colorado and an architectural masterpiece by any standard, Cliff Palace, is the largest cliff dwelling in North America. Last Week to Drop Off Donations!

We are so grateful to those who have donated home goods to Welcome Home in Newton during our July donation drive. Kristen's office is filled with incredible items to bring at the end of the month.

There's still one week left to donate before our August drive begins!

Welcome Home, a nonprofit organization in Newton Center, collects and redistributes like-new household items to local families and individuals experiencing hardship with basic household items they need to live with dignity. These items are provided with no fees, no forms, and no requirements. Items that are tarnished, stained, overused, or broken are not accepted. New and gently used items accepted are: mixing bowls, utensils & silverware, glasses & mugs, plates & bowls, food storage containers, dish towels, sheet sets (all sizes, folded and labeled with size), new pillows, shower curtains, bath mats, new bath towels.
