"Freshness is essential. That makes all the difference."

As our favorite French Chef, Julia Child, once said, "Freshness is essential. That makes all the difference." She might have been talking about ingredients, but here at the WPL, we also think that fresh reads, fresh air, and fresh things to do are also essential.

So fresh and so green...

Libraries are eco-friendly by nature! Here are a few ways the the WPL supports your green living goals: Borrow books, movies, puzzles, and more, instead of buying them- especially if it is something you might only use once. We even offer things like a metal detector or VHS to DVD converter in our Library of Things. Conserve resources by not replacing that broken or seldom used tech. The library offers computers, printing, scanning, and copying. Don't trash your old books, donate them to support the friends of the library. Drop boxes are located in our parking lot. Skip paper altogether by using our eLibrary for eBooks, digital audiobooks, magazines, newspapers, and more.
