A friendly reminder from your local library:
Take a break for goodness sake!

Maggie Smith in Downton Abbey asking what a weekend is meme
Don't remember this epic Violet Crawley moment? Find it in Downton Abbey S1 E1.

With so many people still working from home, February vacation becoming a memory, and Covid precautions taking so many typically fun activities off the table, it is sometimes hard to remember what a good, old-fashioned weekend or evening off feels like.

The Weston Public Library is here to remind you that evenings and weekends are not just an extension of the workweek. Close your work email, log out of Google Classroom, and read on to see how we can help you reclaim some of that day-off feeling.

Need reading motivation? Join one of our book groups.

Sometime we need to push ourselves to make time for fun. A book group is a low-pressure way to motivate yourself to actually finish a book and to have a little social interaction at the same time. Click below to find out more about our upcoming March adult book groups:

Celebrate Black Stories

Black History Month draws to a close

As February comes to an end, let's take time to reflect on some of the amazing authors, creators, activists and others that shared their lived experiences and made an impact on how we think about American history. Just because Black history month is nearly over, that does not mean you have to wait another year to celebrate black stories and voices. Continue your reading, listening, and watching on Hoopla, Overdrive, and on Freegal with a Black History Month Playlist.
