Voter Information

Election Day is Tuesday, November 3

For information on voting visit:
https://www.weston.org/Calendar.aspx?EID=5884&month=11&year=2020&day=3&calType=0

Note the traffic congestion for precincts 3&4 due to school drop off and pick up. We can’t say to avoid those times because we can’t say, avoid voting. So, it’s more of a hey be on the lookout of this traffic issue.

Of course, the bigger news is the change in polling locations for all precincts. 3&4 used to report to the Greek orthodox church on winter street – they must go to the great room at the community center this time. 1&2 used to go to st peters and the Methodist church on north ave. This isn’t too new but for those that only vote at this level, this is new info. So, these precincts report to town hall this time. If they don’t recall where to report, that can be checked online at http://www.sec.state.ma.us/wheredoivotema/

Mail in ballots are due no later than Nov. 3rd at 8pm. The drop box at town hall is the easiest way to return the ballot and ensure it will arrive in time to be counted. However, the drop box will be locked at 8pm on Tuesday, per orders from the Secretary of State. Also, the drop box will be locked at 5pm on Sat., Oct. 31 and will be unlocked at 10am on Sunday, Nov. 1. This is also by order of the Secretary of State for election security on Halloween.

If you have mailed in your ballot you can track it online to ensure that it has been received: https://www.sec.state.ma.us/wheredoivotema/track/trackmyballot.aspx

More fun news? 55% of Weston voters have voted so far!
Of all registered voters in Weston (8,667), 69% requested a mail-in ballot.
