Going on a bear hunt

Virtual field trips for all ages

We know everyone is trying to keep busy and engaged in learning at home so we've compiled some cool links for taking a virtual field trip:

  • See the sites and hear the sounds of Yosemite National Park or Yellowstone National Park
  • Wander from room to room in The Smithsonian Museum of Natural History
  • If you need some cute and cuddly- the live streams of the critters at the San Diego Zoo are just the thing. If you just need a soothing scene, the Monterey Bay Aquarium's "Jelly Cam" is full of floaty, blobby fun.
  • You can see all sorts of things, like the Rosetta Stone at the British Museum
  • How about a day on the farm? You can spend time on a Canadian dairy farm, a sheep farm, or even see how oats are farmed and processed.
  • Immerse yourself in nature with these Nature Conservancy field trips to a variety of environments.
  • Just want to wander? These 360 degree views of cities and landmarks are a fun way to roam.
  • Let's go spelunking! Discover the depths of the world's largest cave in Vietnam.
  • We're going on a Bear hunt! Folks all over Weston and the country are joining in and putting bears in their windows. See how many bears you can spot around town. See the book by Michael Rosen and Helen Oxenbury that inspired this fun trend here: https://www.hoopladigital.com/title/12182350
