Spring and Summer at Weston Recreation

The Weston Recreation Department is excited to continue offering a wide array of programs, activities and events throughout the spring and summer.

The Spring and Summer Program Brochure will be arriving in the mail in the next couple of days. Some important dates:

Camp registration starts online on Tuesday, March 10, 7 PM.
Spring and summer program registration begins online Wednesday, March 11, 7 PM.
Memorial Pool Badges are available now for in-person purchases in the Recreation offices during normal business hours. Online sales begin Wednesday, March 11, 7 PM.

Please read below for some other offerings, and notice the change in location for the Spring Egg Hunt and the Summer Concert series.

Pickleball is back

Pickleball clinics will take place on Wednesday Evenings at 5:30 PM beginning April 15. Learn what all the rage is about in one of the fastest growing sport in the country.

Introduction will teach the basics, including footwear, paddle selection, skill drills and how to keep score.

Learn To Play will build upon the basic skills and develop strategies and techniques to improve your game.

Pre-registration is required for both sessions; instruction will take place at Burchard Park on Wednesdays at 5:30 PM.

Egg Hunt and Concert Series moved to Field School Field

Because of the ongoing construction in Weston Town Center, the Recreation Department has moved the Spring Egg Hunt and Summer Concert Series to the Field School Field. Located between the Field School, Weston Community Center and Weston Public Library, this field offers plenty of space and excellent parking options. Don't worry, we love Town Green just as much as you and plan to return there next year.

Summer Concert Series lineup announced

The Weston Recreation Department has announced its schedule for the Summer Concert Series.

The Band from U.N.C.L.E. will kick off the series on June 17 with the Ice Cream Social, sponsored by the Weston Public Library and Weston Arts and Innovation Center. Other highlights include the Rock'n Country sound of the Dave Sammarco Band, and the nationally known Twangtown Paramours. Concerts will take place every Wednesday at 7:30 PM thorugh July 22. Spring Egg Hunt April 11

Hippity-hop to the Field School Field, and don’t forget to bring your basket for carrying eggs! There will be separate sections for different age groups and of course, there will be a special visit from the Spring Bunny. In case of inclement weather, meet the Bunny in front of the Community Center. Starts Saturday, April 11, 9 AM.
