Opera for Everyone

Opera for Everyone:
Der Fliegender Hollander

Thursday, March 5, 3 PM

More than any other art form, opera is meant to appeal directly to the senses. Come and explore Der Fliegender Hollander, one of the world's most beloved operas. Speaker Erika Reitshamer is an engaging teacher whose knowledge and love of opera will inspire you, and her open style and sense of humor are irresistable. She has lectured on opera and great singers of opera for many years and was active in the formation of the Boston Lyric Opera Company.
This program is sponsored by the Friends of the Library.
