The Merriam Street yard waste composting facility is open on Saturdays from October 6 to November 20 from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. A valid transfer station permit is needed for entry. Free woodchips and compost also available.

Current users of the Transfer Station, watch the postal mail for a free permit sticker. New users can contact the Treasurer/Collector's Office at 781-786-5070 or visit WestonMA.gov/TSPermits for a new permit. Bags will be in stores starting Sept. 20.
