Queen Anne (1875-1900)

This is one of the styles commonly called “Victorian” and is known for its decorative use of materials and colors.

Structure

Often shingles are used together with clapboards or masonry. Queen Anne houses are tall, with high-ceilings and spacious rooms and irregular floor plans.
