Culvert Replacement Analysis (PDF)
Cherry Brook crosses through Weston and is designated as a Coldwater Fish Resource by the state. At the point where the brook crossed Concord Road, there has been historic flooding and maintenance issues due to an undersized culvert. The Town was awarded a grant to hire hydrologic engineers to conduct a hydrology analysis in how to improve infrastructure maintenance, as well as ecological conditions.
Guardrail Report (PDF)
The installation of guardrails does not only take into consideration the necessity but also the aesthetic, cost, and appropriate design.
Pavement Management Study (PDF)
This presentation was offered to provide a general overview of pavement management and how it could affect the Town of Weston.
Tree Inventory Program (PDF)
This report describes the health and benefits of Weston's street tree population. Over a three-year period, all trees within the Town's right of way were inventory and assessed. Understanding an urban forest’s structure, function, and value can promote management decisions that will improve public health and environmental quality.
Vegetation Management Plan
The Vegetation Management Plan (VMP) is designed to establish a five-year program to control vegetation along facilities considered within the Town's right-of-way.
Water System Master Plan (PDF)
This study was commissioned to conduct an independent and comprehensive evaluation of the Town's water system and to identify recommendations for improvements to sustain the reliability of the system to meet expected demand conditions and satisfy regulatory requirements over the next 20-year planning period.
