April Vacation at the Library!

Wingmasters!

Want to meet an owl, up close and personal? Find out how they fly so quietly, and where they live? Join us during vacation week with Wingmasters, and learn all about owls, from real-five examples!

Friday, April 25th

In the Weston Library Community Room
Recommended for ages five and up (children MUST be able to sit still, or the owls will become distracted.)

Vacation Crafts in The Craft Room!

Come in any day during April Vacation, from opening until thiry minutes before closing, and make a craft in our Craft Room! Materials are on our Supply Table, directons on the Work Tables! Be creative and spend some time at the library! (Make sure you take some books home too!)

Library Programs

Library Lapsit--MUSIC and MORE!!

For babies and toddlers, ages 6 months to two years, and their caregiver. An adult must stay with the child. Songs, rhymes and games with performer Jeannie Mack! Music and fun--what could be better? Drop-in.
Thursdays, 10:30 - 11:15
February April 24th and May 29th.
(The last Thursday of the month)

Two Year Old Storytime

For two year olds and their caregiver. An adult must stay with the child. Stories, fingerplays and a craft built on a theme. Five or six week sessions.
January 16th - May 14th
Wednesday Mornings, 10:30 & 11:00

Preschool Storytimes

For three to five year olds. Adults must stay in the building. Longer stories, poetry, and a follow-up craft. Five or six week sessions. Registration required. We must have at least eight people register to participate in order to have a program.

After School BookClubs

For First, Second, Third, Fourth and Fifth Graders. Check calendar to see which days are for which children. Share a chapter book in weekly installments - learn to enjoy literature in the library!
Registration Required.

Vacation Crafts!

For all ages! Drop in all day (until 30 minutes before closing) during school vacation weeks in our Craft Room and create a work of art to bring home! If your child cannot read directions, an adult must remain in the Craft Room.

 

*Registration for Library programs is limited to Weston residents for the first week. Open Registration begins the second week.
