OstrowskyAuthor David Ostrowsky will give a talk on his new book, Game Over or Game On: How Pro Athletes Leave Sports and Enjoy the Game of Life.  He will discuss his research process and interview material from former athletes, including some of the more interesting stories chronicled involving athletes who are in non-sports related careers like politics, business, and law. Some athletes profiled include: David Robinson, Dikembe Mutombo, Steve Finley, Alan Page, Scott Brosius, Butch Hobson, Tony Amonte, Dontrelle Willis, Dolph Schayes, Rox Mix, Kevin Johnson, Warrick Dunn, Shawn Kemp, Mo Vaughn, and Kellen Winslow.  A question and answer period and book signing will follow the discussion.

Dr. Trout is a staff surgeon at Angell Animal Medical Center in Boston and a best selling author. His newest novel continues the story started in The Patron Saint of Lost Dogs about veterinarian Dr. Cyrus Mills and his practice in a small town in Vermont. Dog Gone, Back Soon is full of warm, amusing stories about animals and the people who love them.
