Join us for a one man show performed by actor Stephen Collins. It opens as poet Walt Whitman, on the eve of his 70th birthday, looks back on his life and what inspired him to write "Leaves of Grass." Through poetry and reading of actual letters, performer Stephen Collins brings Whitman to life. Sponsored by the Friends of Weston Library

The Mass Central Railway, Then and Now

In 1871 teams of Irish and Italian laborers began construction of the Mass Central Railway. When completed, it ran 104 miles from Boston to Northampton. Since 1971 communities have been debating what to do with this invaluable land. What is its status today? Join us and learn more!
